  • Where are you located?
    We are out of Boise, Idaho! The main areas we service are Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, and Caldwell. For parties in which a performer must travel further than 10 miles each way, a small travel fee may apply. This travel fee will be discussed with client before booking. Cities we have serviced for parties & events include Kuna, Star, Horseshoe Bend, Emmett, Mountain Home, Fruitland, and Buhl as well as Ontario and La Grande in Oregon. We are always willing to expand our range, so reach out to us to get a travel quote for your party or event!
  • How far in advance should I book my party?
    We recommend booking your party at least two weeks to one month in advance; but even so, your first choice of date and time may not be available as we take bookings as far as 8 months in advance. Booking as far in advance as possible is always the safest bet! This being said, we always try to accommodate last-minute bookings if we have the availability. If your event is taking place within 72 hours or less, a small “late booking fee” may apply.
  • How much is it to add another character to my party package?
    The package prices you see on our website include one character of your choice. The price $100 per additional character added onto any party package.
  • Are your party packages customizable?
    Absolutely! Something we pride ourselves on is offering a unique and personalized experience to each and every party. If you would like to swap out one activity for another, or have something in mind that isn’t on our website, please let us know; we want to make your party dreams come true!
  • Is my deposit refundable?
    No, all deposits are non-refundable.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. For cancellations made with adequate notice (greater than 72 hours prior to event start), client may be granted credits in exchange for deposit. Instead of being forfeited, deposit can be applied to a future event booked with Magical Princess Parties. For cancellations made within 72 hours of event start time, deposit will be forfeited. No exceptions. A great amount of preparation goes into each magical event we create. For this reason, if a party is cancelled within 72 hours, performers will still be paid; therefore, deposit will neither be refunded nor exchanged for credit.
  • What do I need to provide at the party?
    Our parties are designed for the characters to provide full entertainment during the time they are booked so that parents can sit back, relax, and truly enjoy the party! The characters will provide all necessary supplies. Princess Parties: All we ask for is a chair(s) for the character(s) to sit in while they tell their story, and an open space where the kids can sit on the floor to listen to the story that can also be used for our dancing and games! For party packages that include makeup or manicures, we highly recommend having a table space available. Hero Parties: Our hero parties include a “superhero training” portion, which utilizes our obstacle course activity. Outdoor spaces are easiest to work in, but we can certainly do indoor parties as well—we just ask for a wide open space (free of any hazards or breakable items) for the hero to set up their obstacle course in. Our hero parties (any packages 1 hour +) also include a mask-making activity. This is easiest for the kids to do at a table space.
  • Should I book other party entertainment in addition to characters, like a bounce house?
    Our party packages are designed to provide full entertainment for your guests during the time for which the characters are booked! Although it is not necessary to book any other entertainment services, many of our guests have chosen to add Pony Rentals, Face Painters etc. in addition to characters. We are more than happy to share our best recommendations with you, and work alongside these vendors to make your celebration extra special. Note: If you plan for our characters to be the main event of your party, booking a bounce house (or similar attraction) can often distract and take away from the show. For this reason, we advise clients who choose to book a bounce house (or similar attraction) to have a specific area set aside for the princess entertainment, perhaps indoors or somewhere out of sight of the bounce house, in order to get the most out of your character entertainment.
  • What if I want to book a character that I don't see on your website?
    When it comes to character options, the sky is truly the limit! Please reach out to us—we are always looking to add new characters! Costume Rental / Custom Character fees may apply.
  • When is my remaining balance due / How can I pay my remaining balance?
    Your remaining balance is officially due at the party, paid to your party host in cash or check. We highly recommend conveniently paying your balance in advance, using the link we send to you via email during the week leading up to your party.
  • Should I tip my performer?
    Tips are never required or expected, but always greatly appreciated and a wonderful way to thank your performer for going above and beyond to make your princess party dreams come true! 100% of any tip will always go directly to your character performer (unless you specifically request for it to be split with your party host). We ask that any tip is handed to the party host for the purpose of keeping the magic of the character intact.
  • What are your policies / terms & conditions?
    Magical Princess Parties has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment or inappropriate behavior of any type (verbal, physical, etc). In any scenario in which staff is put into a situation of this type of discomfort, staff will leave event immediately, no refund will be granted, and legal action will be taken. Magical Princess Parties is not a child-care provider. Therefore, children should not, at any time, be left unattended in a party or event situation with only the characters present. Although Magical Princess Parties will handle all elements of entertainment, we are in no way responsible for the safety and behavior of participating children. Magical Princess Parties expects parents to be mindful of the quality of costumes, wigs, and party supplies as well as the safety of our performers. If children become unruly at any time, it is expected that a parent will step in and take control of the situation. If a performer feels unsafe at any time, performer will leave immediately and no refund will be granted. If excessive, preventable damage takes place to costuming, wig, or party supplies, client will be charged a fine accordingly. Read more on our full Terms & Conditions page.
